Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Principal Scientist,
R&D.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute experiments for novel reagents and cell culture
components in cell and gene therapy applications
Coordinate inter-team activities and collaborate with external
partners to align project goals
Introduce new analytical tools and methods to enhance research
processes and mentor external collaborators
Key Requirements
Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Cell Biology, Virology, Molecular
Biology, or Pharmacology with a minimum of 10 years of industry
experience
Expertise in biotechnology, cell biology, molecular biology, and
gene therapy, including various cell culture systems
In-depth knowledge of gene therapy processes and experimental
design
Strong experience in cell activation, nucleofection, viral
transduction, and functional assays
Proficiency in aseptic techniques and culture of primary cells and
cell lines
