goals.SummaryResponsible for Tracking and managing the government
sales portfolio. Grow opportunities in vehicle platform component
sales. Communicate with military personnel on Mile Marker
Industries products and capabilities. Translate US Military and
international military customer requirements into product features
and/or new products.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively network for approvals and changes benefitting the
warfighter and Mile Marker Industries within TACOM, SOCOM, and DOD
- Review Registration and Audit sites required for conducting
military business, (SAM.Gov, PIEE, SPRS etc.) to make necessary
renewals and updates. Communicate to the CEO any and all findings
that require a change to information.
- Work closely with the engineering and Operations team to ensure
client needs are met. Advocate internally for resources required to
grow government business.
- Continuously improve and expand Mile Marker's presence with the
US Military services.Identify, qualify, and grow new business
opportunities.
- Monitor federal government contract sites such as Dibbs,
PartsBase, etc. for solicitations and/or opportunities to submit
bids and RFQs.
- Manage and communicate sales information and product changes
both internally and externally.
- Create files and update, as necessary, all military sales and
opportunities (wins and losses), with the purpose of creating
history used for sales approach and inventory needs. Conduct
analysis and reviews as needed to provide a clear path forward.
Develop and manage client relationships to support revenue targets
and goals.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver new products
into the marketplace.
- Company liaison, engaged with engineering, between military
installations of federal, state, and local agencies and prime
defense contractors. Identify opportunities for recovery products
for lightweight tactical and armored military vehicles.
- Participate in contract negotiations, proposal development,
technical support, and customer support.QUALIFICATIONS: -Four plus
years in a government sales role -Experience working with the
defense industry. -Military and/or DoD background highly desired. -
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong
situational awareness. -Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness
to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
-Strong understanding of business processes with the ability to
translate business requirements into technical requirements and
deliver requested output timely and accurately. - High level of
energy, positive attitude, and selfless attitude for the benefit of
the firm. -Advanced MS Office skills.Preferred Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in Business or related field from a four-year
